The information technology is considered as one of the modern characteristics, specially after the the wide-spreading of the computerized networks and applications in the various daily-life aspects. Along with its divisions -computer technology and communication technology-; it became an emergent necessity for the individuals and businesses, that is necessarily needed by all managerial levels: from the operational level, followed by the tactical level and ending by the strategic level.
The today's issue is not limited only to possessing the technology, but also includes how to utilize them in the suitable way to achieve the individuals and businesses objectives.
So, as a step in the permanent striving to offer the advantageous and remarkable programmes, those based on the qualification of the students to participate actively within the practical life, the College of Administrative Sciences and Informatics has initiated the Information Technology programme in the year 2000, which is offered as an undergraduate programme.
