شارك الاستاذ امجد النتشة من دائرة العلوم الادارية والدكتور غسان شاهين من دائرة نظم المعلومات والوسائط المتعددة في مؤتمر "المؤتمر الدولي الثاني للتعلم والتعليم في العالم الرقمي / التعلم الذكي " والذي عقد في رحاب جامعة النجاح الوطنية بتاريخ 29 و 30 اذار 2017. وقد كانت المشاركة من خلال تقديم ورقة بحثية بعنوان "توظیف التكنولوجیا لتحسین تعلم الطلبة في بیئة ذكیة Using technology to enhance student learning within a smart learning environment”  والتي تمحورت حول استخدام بعض التقنيات والتكنولوجيا المتوفرة في موقع بيرسون من خلال ماي لاب وتوظيفها في احدى المساقات واعتماد اساليب مختلفة للتعلم والتقييم  لتحفيز الطلبة وتحسين مستوى التعلم لديهم. وقد اظهرت نتائج التجربة والبحث تغيرا ايجابيا وتأثيرا ممتازا على الطلبة ونظرتهم للتعلم من خلال هكذا اساليب وممارسات . وقد قام الاستاذ امجد بتقديم الورقة بالنيابة عن الباحثين.

ملخص الورقة Abstract:

Despite efforts by Palestinian universities to incorporate technology in education, it is still lagging behind in offering and adopting proper mobile and smart technologies compared to international universities.  On the other hand, traditional teaching methods are still widely used and adopted in universities, although several initiatives are materializing in shifting towards innovative methods in teaching and learning.  This overall situation, combined with students’ negative attitudes towards learning, promote negative educational culture, and a non-serious student.  This paper tries to address this issue, by using Mastering & MyLab service provided by Pearson. This service was adopted for Marketing Management course at College of Administrative Sc. & Informatics, Palestine Polytechnic University, as part of an effort to adopt student-centered learning approach.  It aims to improve student’s engagement and participation, through the use of simulation and other technology-based activities, as an enhancement of current learning setup; towards a smart learning environment.  The initial results show a good sign of improvement and engagement, in addition to a more positive attitude towards learning by students.
